In 2023, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) had reported a N3.3 trillion profit.
This was made known to journalists on Monday, through NNPC Ltd.’s chief financial officer, Umar Ajiya, he said that this was the company’s largest profit since its founding.
In the meantime, N2.101 trillion has been declared as a dividend by NNPC Ltd. for the fiscal year 2023.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the national oil company’s profit for 2023 is more than N1 trillion greater than the N2.548 trillion profit it made in the 2022 fiscal year.
