
The appointment of 1,192 more aides has been approved by Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo in an unprecedented move.
Dr. Folashade Ayoade, the Secretary to the State Government, informed the public of this development in a statement.
“The aides consist of 36 Special Assistants, 165 Senior Special Assistants, Kogi State Office for Disability, and Yakubu Abdulhakeem, who will serve as the Executive Secretary.”
The announcement said, “Others on the list approved by the governor are 290 Local Government Special Assistants and 574 Ward Special Assistants.”
In a related incident, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulsadiq was appointed to the position of Director of Protocol, First Lady Office, along with a group of assistants, by state governor Ododo.
He congratulated each and every appointee and asked them to work hard.
