VeryDarkMan, a popular Nigerian social media influencer, has been released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) custody. According to reports, he was seen with his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, after fulfilling his bail conditions.
Omnoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate, announced VeryDarkMan’s release on social media, thanking Nigerians for their support and Deji Adeyanju for his role in securing VDM’s release.
Supporters rallied behind VeryDarkMan, using the hashtag #FreeVDM on social media and protesting in Abuja to demand his release.
