The newly elected National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has scheduled an emergency stakeholders meeting to review the party’s recently concluded and widely acknowledged National Convention.
According to an official notice signed by Hon. Ini Ememobong Essien, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, the meeting is set to hold on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 8:00 AM, at the National Executive Committee Hall, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Plot 1970, Michael Okpara Street, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.
The NWC, under the leadership of Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, is inviting all serving and former governors, members of the National Assembly (Senate and House of Reps), former Board of Trustees (BoT) members, all state chairmen, and party ex-officio members to attend.
The emergency session is expected to cover crucial matters affecting the party and will include breakout sessions for deeper deliberation throughout the day.
“All attendees are urged to kindly endeavor to attend, as very crucial matters of our Party shall be discussed,” the statement read.
The meeting comes as the PDP intensifies efforts to unify party members and consolidate gains from the just concluded National Convention.
