The National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has released an official disclaimer disowning 18 prominent politicians, warning the public and party faithful against recognizing them as members of the party.
In a statement signed by the PDP National Secretary, Sen. Samuel N. Anyanwu, the party listed the following individuals, accusing them of falsely parading themselves as PDP members:
Bala Mohammed ,Dauda Lawal ,Seyi Makinde ,Emmanuel Udom ,Adolphus Wabara ,Taofeek Arapaja, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki ,Ben N. Obi ,Bode George ,Okechukwu Obiechina, Emmanuel Ogidi ,Emmanuel Ebiden ,Suleiman Kadade Mohammed ,Sumaita Adamu Bunza ,Kosheodo Setonji ,Daniel Voyenighkuro ,Umar Iliya Damagun ,Umar Sani
According to the PDP, these individuals were expelled by the National Executive Committee (NEC) on November 18, 2025, for “various offences bordering on anti-party activities and gross misconduct.”
