The Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, LFC, Dr David Olaniyi Oyedepo, has reaffirmed that not even $1 billion can make him join politics.
Oyedepo made the statement while speaking during the impartation service at Shiloh 2025, the church’s annual convocation, held at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.
The cleric urged members of the church to remain focused on their divine calling, stressing that true impact and dominion come from operating within one’s God-ordained purpose.
“In 2015, I warned the church that trouble was coming. Didn’t trouble come?” Oyedepo said.
“Partisan politics is off my calling. If you give me $1 billion to join politics, I won’t, because it is off my course.”
He further highlighted what he described as the urgency of the times, noting that the world is in desperate need of divine intervention.
“The world is groaning in darkness, but as written in Romans 8:19, the whole world is waiting for the earnest manifestation of the sons of God,” he said.
According to the bishop, believers are being prepared as an end-time army to provide solutions to national and global challenges, drawing parallels with biblical figures such as Joseph and Daniel.
“The army of God is about to emerge to proffer solutions to national crises in the order of Joseph and Daniel. This is the day of what eyes have not seen nor ears heard,” he added.
Oyedepo’s remarks formed part of a broader message urging Christians to avoid distractions from worldly pursuits and remain steadfast in fulfilling their God-given assignments, which he said would enable them to positively influence their communities and nations.
Shiloh 2025 commenced on December 9 and will conclude on December 14, 2025, bringing together worshippers from around the world for spiritual teachings, impartation, and fellowship
