The Students’ Union Government of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has lauded Alhaji Kamorudeen Olawale Yusuf, Personal Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Special Duties, for his impactful intervention in the lives of financially challenged students.
In a statement issued by the SUG President, Comrade Temitope Afolabi, popularly known as “Big Afo,” the union expressed deep appreciation for the presidential aide’s consistent support for indigent students, describing it as “life-changing.”
According to Afolabi, Alhaji Yusuf has, over time, sponsored the payment of WAEC and NECO examination fees for many underprivileged learners, helping them resume or complete their academic pursuits.
“His gestures have given renewed hope to students who had lost all prospects of continuing their education due to financial hardship,” Afolabi said.
The union also noted that Alhaji Yusuf’s philanthropic outreach extends beyond the campus environment, citing empowerment initiatives for market women and local entrepreneurs as part of his broader community impact.
Describing the support as a strategic investment in Nigeria’s future, the SUG called on other public officials to emulate the presidential aide’s commitment to human capital development through education.
